About Tirpak Music Studio
Our teachers are college graduates with degrees in music education and music performance, and are professional working musicians performing throughout the Greater Delaware Valley.
Our studio provides a warm, friendly atmosphere for the student to have fun, learn and grow. Parents may sit in on the lesson, or relax in the foyer.
What Our Students Learn
Students at Tirpak Music Studio learn about the care and upkeep of their instrument, and the basic fundamentals of music theory, including note recognition, rhythm recognition, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm writing. You may choose to study classical, popular, jazz and blues, hymns, Broadway tunes, or concert band music.
Preparing for All South Jersey Auditions
Whether you are interested in playing an instrument for personal enjoyment, or more seriously for regional or state All South Jersey Auditions in middle or high school, we specialize in coaching to prepare the student with scales, sight reading and selected solo performances required, along with interpretation styles.
In the summer, we continue to offer weekly lessons, or our students can take advantage of summer music camps. We've had personal experience with many of these music camps and we can highly recommend some to you.
Many of our students go on to study music at colleges and universities, perform as musicians in church, in pit bands, rock bands or other outside performances.
